What You’ll Do

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Barback to join our team. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting the bartenders and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the bar.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with bar setup, maintaining cleanliness, stocking supplies, and providing excellent customer service to our guests.

Responsibilities:

Bar Setup: Assist with the setup of the bar area before service, including arranging glassware, stocking bar supplies, and ensuring all necessary equipment is in place.
Beverage Preparation: Help prepare and garnish drinks by slicing fruit, filling ice bins, and assisting bartenders with the preparation of cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware. Restock supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted service.
Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including wiping down counters, sweeping floors, and cleaning utensils and equipment. Adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards to ensure a safe and clean working environment.
Glassware Management: Collect used glassware, wash and polish them efficiently, and return them to the appropriate storage area for reuse. Ensure an adequate supply of clean glassware is readily available for service.
Trash and Recycling: Empty trash and recycling bins regularly, ensuring proper disposal of waste and recyclable materials according to established guidelines.
Customer Service: Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, responding to their requests, providing assistance, and delivering drinks and food orders when necessary.
Assistance to Bartenders: Support bartenders with various tasks as needed, including retrieving and opening bottles, changing kegs, and assisting in the preparation of garnishes and specialty ingredients.
Cleaning and Maintenance Tasks: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, such as cleaning bar equipment, restocking napkins and straws, and ensuring bar surfaces are clean and presentable.
Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with bartenders, servers, and other team members to ensure efficient and coordinated service. Assist with other duties as assigned by the bar management team.

Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy kegs, cases of beverages, and other bar supplies.
